"The ocean of Spirit has become the little bubble of my soul.  Whether floating in birth, or disappearing in death, in the ocean of cosmic awareness the bubble of my life cannot die.  I am indestructible consciousness, protected in the bosom of Spirit's immortality."

Paramahansa Yogananda
(Metaphysical Meditations, p. 42)

Greetings!

As we transition into the fall season, we have several exciting activities planned over the next few months. This month, Sister Brahmani will join us on Sunday, October 8, as we honor the significant contributions of our Volunteers. She will conduct our services that morning and we will have a delicious vegetarian lunch served by our Bhakti Team immediately following the 11am service. All are welcome to attend even if you are not a volunteer.

There will be three retreats at the SRF Greenfield Retreat in October: a One Day Women's Retreat, a One Day Men's Retreat, and a Women's Kriyaban Retreat. Specific dates can be found in our newsletter and you can also visit the SRF Greenfield Retreat website for more specific details.

SRF's How-to-Live Programs will host a One Day Regional Day Program at the SRF Atlanta Center, conducted by SRF Monastics and Lay disciples for children and teens ages 7-18. The Girls program will be on October 14, and the Boys program will be on October 21. For more details, please see our Sunday School leaders, Gauri Prakash-Canjels or Indu Gulalia.

We will have a 3-hour meditation with Kirtan on Sunday evening, October 1, and a 4-hr meditation on Saturday, October 21. More details about these long meditations can be found in the newsletter.

In Divine Friendship,
Indira Harris
